Introduced in 1948 and made initially in drop head form as a Dollar earner, it was a resounding flop across the Atlantic with many cars brought back home. Mechanically based on the A70 but with bored out engine of 2660cc and 88 bhp, giving a top speed of 96 mph. This engine formed the basis of the Healey 100 introduced in 1952. Power hood available as an option, and fixed head saloon from 1949. Discontinued in 1952 with no replacement.
